For their nutrition bees rely on pollen and nectar. Just like humans, bees must consume sufficiently varied and quality nutrients in order to stay in good health. Therefore, their natural environment must provide various plants, flowers and crops.
Monoculture in the agriculture and horticulture may jeopardize the food provision for the bees. Also, regimentally laid, modern gardens with few melliferous plants, provide our bees with insufficient nutrients.
Agriculture and horticulture and also public green belong to the regions' authority. They go into the issue and work in close collaboration with the provinces and municipalities in order to provide solutions for sufficiently varied natural nutrients for the bees.
