Two federal agencies are involved in the work of the Convention for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR)

These public stakeholders are:

• the Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment FPS;
• the Science Policy PPS.

The Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment Federal Public Service

The Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment FPS is the official representative of Belgium within the Commission (CCAMLR). This role is performed by the Biodiversity & Governance department of the DG Environment with the support and assistance of the Marine Environment Department of the same DG.

Federal Public Planning Service Science Policy

The Science Policy PPS (Belspo) is Belgium's official representative within the Scientific Committee of the Convention (CCAMLR).
