Would you like to come to the CITES Management Authority to present a case, discuss a case or pick up your CITES documents?
Make an appointment with a CITES officer via the call centre on +32 (0)2 524 97 97.
Volontary and anonymous CITES container
It is generally illegal to trade items made from protected animals or plants without CITES documents.
Do you have items whose origin is unclear, or for which you have no (or no longer have) documents, or which no longer represent a cherished souvenir: for example, ivory figurines, coral, snakeskin items, an old leopard coat?
You can leave them with us voluntarily and anonymously. By doing so, you will prevent these items from ending up in the illegal trade.
A CITES container is available in the entrance hall of the Galilee building, on the left below the stairs (avenue Galilee 5, 1210 Brussels). You are free to drop off your items there.
Would you like to drop off an item that is taller than 1.50 m or that is too big for the container?
If so, please, contact us to make an appointment.
