The second transnational call for proposals of the ERA-NET ICRAD (International Coordination of Research on Infectious Animal Diseases) has been launched with the title « One Health Approach to Zoonoses Research and Innovation ».
Twenty-two funding organisations from 18 - mainly European - countries foresee a budget of more than 12 million euros for this second call. In Belgium, the FPS Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment, the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO) and The Fund for Scientific Research (FSR) participate. The FPS Public Health has earmarked a grant budget of 250,000 euros for projects within the first research area (Research area 1) “Improved understanding of animal-human-environment interface”.

The deadline for submission of pre-proposals is Wednesday the 15th of December 2021 at 15:00 (CET). Submission shall be done through the ICRAD submission platform.
There will be a (international) webinar to introduce the call on Friday the 8th of October 10:00-12:00 (CET). The webinar will cover:
