Pilots

The doctors of the Federal Aviation Medical (FAM) have been accredited by the FPS Mobility. The FAM provides certificates which comply with the strict standards of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

With the exception of a psychological test*, all tests (blood tests, ENT test, eye examination, audiogram, spirometry, ECG, …) take place at the center in a few hours’ time. Visits to different specialists are unnecessary. The ECLG has accredited specialists and equipment available.

*Following a change in legislation, we are required by the Belgian aviation authority to have all class 1 pilot candidates take an additional psychological test as of 1 July 2019. After the examinations in our medical centre, you will receive all the necessary information to make an appointment for the psychological test in a specialised centre in Halle. The cost of this test is € 280, which has to be paid on site.
