Today is the first #WorldVentil8Day.
It is a new annual campaign to raise awareness of the importance of effective ventilation for the health and well-being of people around the world.
The campaign aims to highlight the economic, health and well-being impacts of air quality improvements. It thus aims to promote a significant improvement in indoor air quality.
The FPS Public Health already attaches great importance to this issue: a new law for the improvement of indoor air quality in closed places accessible to the public has recently been passed and will be published in a few days.
This step marks the beginning of a real policy to improve indoor air quality in Belgium, such as has not existed until now, and such as few have existed in the world to date.
