Sexual risk behaviour and blood donation by MSM - Update 2021

Sexual risk behaviour by blood donors can affect the safety of blood components prepared from the donations in question. The Superior Health Council advocates raising awareness of the social responsibility of those who wish to act on their feelings of empathy and altruism by donating blood.

This advisory report is an updated addition to the considerations and recommendations on sexual risk behaviours of men who have sex with men (MSM) in the context of blood donation issued in 2016 (report 9291).

This report is only available in Dutch and French.
