In today's globalised world, diseases can spread very quickly. Saniport oversees public health by identifying, containing and preventing potential health risks in international traffic. To this end, Saniport works together with other partners and authorities at the so-called 'Points of Entry', i.e. primarily the Belgian airports and seaports.
