Something is moving at sea: the marine spatial plan 2020-2026
Our Belgian part of the North Sea is small but very busy. Green energy, nature conservation, shipping, fishing, sand extraction and so much more take place every day. In order for all these activities to go together, the federal authorities draw up a marine spatial plan.
The brochure 'Something is moving at sea' summarises the marine spatial plan 2020-2026 in an accessible way. It gives an overview of the most important activities in our North Sea by means of specific sectoral maps. You can also test your knowledge with a short quiz.
The complete marine spatial plan can be found on www.marinespatialplan.be.
