You can appeal to the Federal Appeals Commission for Access to Environmental Information if you believe that our decision is not correct or that we have not followed the procedure laid down by law.

You have 60 days from receipt of the reply letter to lodge this appeal, either from the moment you received our negative or partially positive decision, or because we have not implemented a positive decision. You may file your appeal at any time if we have not responded to your request within 30 days (or 45 days if an extension is applicable).

The Commission has 30 days to decide on the appeal, extendable to 45 days if the application is complex.
