This information sheet aims to provide independent advice on the use of pneumococcal vaccines. It is based on scientific evidence and expert consensus regarding the clinical efficacy of the vaccines in question. With the focus only on maximising the health impact,  the cost-effectiveness of the vaccines has not been taken into account.
