About Saniport

In today's globalised world, diseases can spread very quickly. Saniport oversees public health by identifying, containing and preventing potential health risks in international traffic. To this end, Saniport works together with other partners and authorities at the so-called 'Designated Points of Entry', i.e. primarily the Belgian airports and seaports. Saniport carries out its duties in accordance with the International Health Regulations (IHR) van de World Health Organization (WHO)
