When to request a medical exam to have your medical certificate in a timely manner

Schedule a new examination in a timely manner :

• If the examination occurs within the 45 days before the expiration date of your current medical certificate, you will receive an extension (revalidation) of your certificate. Your current attestation will then be extended from the expiration date.
   
• If this examination takes place more than 45 days before the current expiration date, or after the current expiration date, then a renewal will take place. You will receive a new attestation, valid as of the date of the examination.

• Fill out the application form and mail it to eclg-cema@health.fgov.be 
• For an extension or renewal you can also contact us directly at eclg-cema@health.fgov.be or via the Service Center Health 02/524 97 97 (available on working days from 8.00 to 13.00).
