The Bureau  manages the work of the Committee and ensures the coordination of the various select commissions. It is composed of 4 vice-chairpersons chosen from among its members; each vice-chair acts as chairperson for one year. Since 11 December 2023, Jan De Lepeleire, Virginie Pirard, Patrick Cras and Geneviève Schamps have been elected Vice-Chairpersons of the Belgian Advisory Committee on Bioethics.
